Discovering Principles after getting Groceries(5th)

Achieving Asymmetrical Balance.

Using Depth to create a sense of isolation and show Scale.

Tying to create a focal point in the front by drawing eyes with lines and depth.

Applying Contrast and Variety to stocking pantry

Drawing the viewers eye by creating a sense of space with angle and shadow

Closing the Gap (4th)

Its hard to wake up and remember to take a photo
In an attempt to create Unity I spent the night in the doorways of my house. I woke up just long enough to take this picture in the doorway of my roommates room and my own before falling back asleep for another quick nap.
Captain Crunch is best served with a natural light source
After second sleep I had my morning meal. I sat between the dining room and the TV room. Unifying the idea of where you should eat and where I do eat.

Its hard to live design. Isolation was the only concept I was rewarded with.

I did my work and leisure between the TV room and the hall of rooms. This was to make where I play and where I sleep come together.

Balance helps a troubled mind rest (3rd)

Symmetrical Balance

Asymmetrical Balance

Radial Balance
Long days and longer nights without rest. I sought to solve my tired nights by balancing out where I sleep and hopefully myself.

I started with the Symmetrical Balance before I went to sleep that first night. However it didn't flow.

Asymmetrical balance was by far the best. I took the smaller parts and set them apart from the large section. I enjoyed seeing this before bed.

Upon waking up I felt the urge to achieve radial balance. So I did. I used the blankets to smooth the corners of the pillows away. The blankets overlap to give a feel of continuation that compliments the radial design.

Living in the Shadows (2nd)

Phase 1: Brood

Phase 2: Quench Thirst

Contrast was a concern while living in the shadows. I made sure that every activity I did (murder) had a strong light source to cast a visible shadow.

My first high-contrast activity was to blog about how my roommate sucks at waking up in an interesting manner.

Carrying the lamp all over the house got me thirsty. My thirst for liquid was only enhanced by my thirst for vengeance.

Phase 3: Revenge

I dragged the lamp around the house ominously.Phase 3 switched the emphasis from confusion and disappointment to anger and action.

I brought closure to performance by repeating my shadow theme and by ended the story.
Phase 4: Dispose of the evidence

Science or The Start of a Conflict (1st)

Mistake

Inciting action

It took much deliberation and thought to decide how best to display emotion. My decision was to examine the emotions of someone woken suddenly and to create emphasis on said emotions. And as fate would have it, my roommate Jason felt particularly tired Wednesday afternoon.

Fourth attempt
In an attempt to create emphasis on the emotions of a startled sleeper I poked the snoring Jason awake. His reaction was poor, he did not understand why I was poking him and he did NOT show anything more than a dazed look .
